Convert Flashdisk Fat/Fat32 to NTFS

Sedikit info NTFS di kenalkan pertama pada Windows NT dan merupakan file system yang benar benar berbeda di banding teknologi FAT. NTFS menawarkan security yang jauh lebih baik , kompresi file , cluster dan bahkan support enkripsi data, sedangkan FAT tidak mempunyai security dalam data dan semua Operating System yang terinstall memiliki akses 100% kepada partisi yang menggunakan FAT (read,write,delete,execute).

Biasanya konfersi ke NTFS selalu terjadi ketika kita menginstal windows di pc kita, akan ditanya apakah mau di Format With NTFS or FAT. Namun pada flashdisk tidak ada pilihan format to NTFS, hanya ada FAT or FAT32. Tapi kita bisa melakukan conversi tersebut dengan resiko kehilangan data yang kecil.

Caranya ada 2,
pertama :

- masukan USB ke PC/Laptop
- Klik kanan Properties di Flashdisk anda
- Pilih Hardware n pilih Disk Drive FDnya.. lalu Properties lagi
- terakhir masuk ke Policies > Optimize For Performance > OK
- lalu coba Format seperti biasa, Pilih NTFS

kedua :

1. Masuk ke Start>Run
2. Lalu ketik cmd
3. Sekarang ketik CONVERT [drive] /FS:NTFS
sperti nih commandnya ( misalkan drive G yang ingin saya convert ) : CONVERT G: /FS:NTFS dan tekan Enter.

Nah sekarang flashdisk anda telah menggunakan format NTFS dengan security dan kelebihan yang bagus. Namun jika anda melakukan downgrade ke FAT or FAT32 lagi, kemungkinan data-data anda akan hilang ketika konversi.

Cara sederhana untuk mengambil tampilan layar atau screenshot adalah dengan menggunakan tombol Print Screen pada keyboard dan melakukan paste pada program image editor atau aplikasi lainnya. Menutup Program "Not Responding"

Jika anda adalah seorang pengguna windows, maka sudah pasti anda pernah menemukan progam yang membeku(hang) sebelumnya. Biasanya aplikasi yang mengalami ini akan mendapat label "Not Responding" dan tidak dapat yang bisa anda lakukan kecuali membuka task manager, menemukan proses yang "beku" tersebut dan menutupnya. Tetapi Disitu mempunyai cara yang lebih cepat dan mudah yang bisa anda coba.

Caranya adalah dengan membuat sebuah desktop shortcut yang akan menutup aplikasi "Not Responding" hanya dengan melakukan double click pada shortcut tersebut. Caranya sangat mudah, cukup ikuti lagkah di bawah ini :

- Right Click Desktop anda dan pilih "Create a New Shortcut"

- Lalu ketikkan ini atau Copy Paste Saja bila anda malas:p :

taskkill.exe /f /fi "status eq not responding"

Setelah melakukan langkah di atas maka akan ada sebuah shortcut dengan nama "taskkill". Dengan men-double click shortcut tersebut, komputer akan secara otomatis mengidentifikasi dan menutup setiap program "Not Responding". Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Project Codenamed Namoroka

Setelah beberapa hari Mozilla merilis Firefox 3.5 codenamed “Shiretoko“, Mozilla telah mengumumkan project baru - Mozilla Firefox 3.6 dengan codenamed "Namoroka“, dengan target untuk dirilis sekitar tahun 2010.

Firefox 3.6 atau Namoroka akan dibuat berdasarkan Gecko 1.9.2 dengan peningkatan baru dan fitur baru.

Saya telah menyelesaikan sebuat website untuk upload file, tampilannya mirip seperti nimbuzzer.co.cc. Memang saya menggunakan contoh script yang sama, tapi byk perubahan yang saya lakukan supaya tidak menjiplak sama sekali.

Saya menggunakan layanan hosting gratis beralamatkan http://www.byethost.com/, saya mendapat Disk Free sebesar 5632 MB dan Bandwidth quota sebesar 204800 MB. Tempat ini akan saya gunakan untuk upload file pribadi saya.

Saya memperbolehkan anda upload disini tapi dengan syarat file tidak melebihi 10mb/file. Jika lebih, akan saya hapus.

Google Chrome 2.0 Dirilis


Google Chrome 2.0 akhirnya masuk stable release. Menurut Google, pada versi stabil terbaru ini selain digunakannya versi terbaru Webkit untuk merender halaman web, dilakukan pula perbaikan yang dapat meningkatkan kecepatan V8 Javascript engine yang digunakan Google Chrome sampai dengan 30% dari sebelumnya. Beberapa fitur yang ditambahkan pada versi ini antar lain kemungkinan untuk membuang thumbnail suatu website yang sering dikunjungi ketika membuka tab baru, full screen mode dengan tombol F11, dan form autofill. Zooming halaman web melalui tombol Ctrl dan tombol +/- (atau tombol scroll pada mouse) yang sebelumnya hanya terbatas pada teks, saat ini berlaku pula pada image dan elemen lainnya.

Setelah saya mengupdate Google Chrome yang saya gunakan ke versi 2.0 ini, informasi versi yang diberikan adalah 2.0.172.28.

Firefox 3.5 memiliki perubahan yang signifikan dalam hal kecepatan akses, yang katanya sampai dua kali lipat dari versi sebelumnya.

- Browsing lebih privat

Seperti beberapa browser baru lainnya, firefox ini menawarkan fitur browsing yang lebih privat. Dalam mode ini Firefox tidak akan menyimpan apapun seperti history, cookies, usernames atau password.

Tidak seperti Incognito mode pada Google Chrome, atau InPrivate pada IE 8, Firefox 3.5 tidak memberi indikasi apapun saat pengguna menjalankan mode ini.

- Firefox bisa 'lupa'

Jangan salah sangka dulu, lupa yang dimaksud di sini adalah menghapus history, namun tanpa menghilangkan subfoldernya. History tersebut akan terhapus, namun Firefox masih menyimpan subfoldernya.

- Tab Yang lebih baik

Tab dalam Firefox 3.5 akan bekerja secara lebih baik. Disamping pengguna bisa menggeser tab pada toolbar, mereka juga bisa men-drag n drop tab tersebut pada jendela Firefox yang lain.

Sebenarnya fitur ini tidak terasa spesial. Pasalnya pada Chrome dan Safari, fitur ini sudah ada lebih dulu.

- Mengembalikan 'tulisan yang hilang'

Firefox 3.5 didesign untuk mengembalikan 'tulisan yang hilang'. Misalnya saat pengguna tengah menuliskan komentar pada berita detikinet dan tidak sengaja meng-klik back, maka yang terjadi biasanya tulisan mereka akan hilang karena halaman page berubah ke sesi sebelumnya.
